From the slide rails down, it has almost exactly matched the dimensions of the full-bore pistol; even the cut chequered walnut grip plates can be replaced by anything that is marketed for the 1911. Both the front & rear areas of the grip-frame are deeply grooved to prevent your hand from twisting around the grip. It should be noted that there is no grip safety. On the HW45, the …
make sure you clean your barrel regularly because the prometheus leave traces of the polymer behind. then when u use lead pellets again traces of lead sticks to the polymer and ruins the rifling. nice gun.
I’m starting to get the weapon collecting bug like you mike lol. I am looking at buying all different airguns for the sake of it! Silly really when we are stuck with 12 ft/lb’s lol
Yes Quids = £ pounds, and its Velocity (fps) is 350 - 420 depending on pellet type.
That’s one massive gun, reminds me of a desert eagle. how many fps is it. Quid is the pound currency correct? thanks
I bought a load off e bay for 8 pounds a pack. They are normally 19 pounds unfortunately. They are made of tin and don’t deform even after they have hit their target. Seriously decent ammo.
Cheers mate, will do, next time i get some pellets i will buy some of those.
Mike.
Mate try Dynamic air bullets in this. The dome shaped ones. I can promise you you won’t buy any other sort of ammo again.
your nails are fucked up
dukes..
I know. They are a rip off. I would like a decent pistol too. I like this pistol but it’s only one shot this is the problem. Be great if they did a semi auto version!
Yeah, i wouldn’t buy the Rifles, but this pistol is definetly worth the money, being as it the only full power spring pistol there is as far as i know.
but there are plenty of cheaper rifles than the Wierarch ones.
Weinreich is so expensive though. When i got my gamo the guy in the store tried to sell me a HW 50 rifle for 190 quid. I checked it’s spec and it’s hardly any more powerful than my B2 lol.
Hi Terminator, the HW 40 and 45 are the succesful pistols in our local competitions. It´s simply not possible to go into a pistol competition with an air gun. For such competitions the HW 45 is the best choice. I am also successful with the HW 40. Thats easier to handle (because of weight). The HW 45 is a traditional high quality product for people who don´t like modern weapon plastics. It´s a successful product- philosophie.
All Coppers Are Bastards!!!
ACAB Love it lol!
Yeah i have 2 pistols and i prefer them cos you can carry them in your jacket pocket but what we can have in the UK is pretty crap. I have 2 Anics semi automatics - A101 and A112 but they fire bb’s. How is your pistol on breaking glass bottles? I have a couple of B2 rifles which fire at 9 ft/lb’s and they just bounce off the bottles. Total shit. The gamo blows them to bits of course.
lol, Do i really sound Shifty, lol, Thanks For That. yeah they are over priced but it the best you can get, i do have 12ft/lb rifle, but a rifle is not a pistol is it, Those Shadowmatics are great guns, but i wanted a pistol.
see you.
WeaponCollector
You’re a shifty sounding geezer, don’t go holding up any paki shops with that thing will you?!! What made you buy it mate, seriously? It’s well overpriced and if it’s power you are after just get the gamo shadowmatic. 140 quid and you’re bang on the UK’s legal limit of 12 ft/lb’s.
those pellets would fucking hurt compared to little BB guns ball pellets.
Good review.
sketchy
i was over it any way. ive done alot of taken apart of air guns as well. and found out that crossman rat catchers are great base for making into open blot fuly automatic weapons .22 if u use the barrel or single shot shotguns useing the co2 loading bay
lol u should have taken it to an airgun shop ud probibly have got a lot more fo it. i have a habit of taking my guns apart more than i shoot them its good to know what goes on inside. u could have shifted the barrel, i tried to take it out but i used an imperial allen key instead of an imperial. it rounded the screw head. those f**kers were in tight!
yeh i know but i couldnt it would only go in so far and then no more.i have had it 2 years but i sold it yesterday as i lost my job and needed the money.someone said i could move the barrel back but ididnt try it. i paid 210 for it and got 40 back thats Depreciation. the man in the pawn shop blamed it on the credit crunch.fuckin prick itle be on sale for 140 next week
iv never had that problem. make sure that you push the pelet as hard as possible into the barrel otherwise the tail cuts the seal.
nevermind my last comment i just saw the test fire video.
great gun, but I thought you were going to shoot some targets. I would love to see how it performs.
