The gun was able to shoot slightly over one-half MOA at 100 yards with its preferred 17 grain ammo. This rifle consistently out-shot a Ruger 77/17 bolt action also chambered in 17 HMR. The Volquartsen is a good choice for a rimfire varmint rifle.
Great shooting rifle no doubt, but I like a gun on the shoulder. I find that type of shooting a little isolated or sterile. Then again it’s all good when it comes to sending lead down range…whatever floats your boat.
Sharp looking gun. Is this gun not affected by the warning that the ammo manufacturer’s are putting out stating 17HMR is not safe to shoot in semiauto guns?
Seems kinduv like a Wast To Spend THAT Much money on a .17 cal.
wow, thats very accurate for a rifle based of the 10/22, but it seems to me that the way he has takes out the too much of the human element from marksmanship
