   Either gun would be a good choice. The 686 is a great revolver for sure. I own one and it is accurate. The Ruger is also a great choice. Ruger’s are built like tanks and? very accurate. In my opinion the Ruger is the winner. Great gun Great price. Thank you.

   i am looking to get a .357 mag stainless steel with a 6in barrel and cant decide between the 686 or the GP100? the only real up side to the 686 other than i think it looks just a hair better than the GP100 is the extra bullet camber, but the price diff is more than a little bit between the 2. what would you consider and y, well thanks for ur time and take care.
