Though the recoil is light, the .338 Lapua is a robust round, and you can tell from the camera movement that the sound alone is enough to jostle. Great video keep up the good work.
How are you not hitting dead center at 50 yrdswith tht cal.
the ba stands for bad ass lol
@ytmoneyr
AGREED. At that range, this gun should be putting bullets on top of each other.
@MrSniper1k see how it sounds with a suppressor.
@harold562 y would you want 2 put a supressor on?
@NRAEMedia yes there is one with a standard fcp hs stock
@NRAEMedia yes there is one with a standard fcp hs stock
how accurate is this?
can you remove the muzzle brake and add a suppressor instead?
horrible marksmanship. sorry guys, better practice a little more before you start posting videos.
I read that a .338 LM has to have the barrel changed out after just a few hundred rounds. How many rounds can go through the Savage before ruining the barrel?
@NRAEMedia what was the groups you can get at 100 yards?
@motopilot0919
That’s what I was thinking. I’d rather have one in a standard style fiberglass stock. I like the bottom metal and magazine configuration though.
@SUPERSPARTA41 in .338 heavy is better and 15/16lbs is about right for it.
sorry but this bad shooting for that close of range, this rifle can do that at 1000 yard.
savage claims with their muzzle brake the 338 recoil is similar and comparable to a 308
Really like it, it will be my next rifle!
is it true that this gun dampens the recoil almost to the extent of making it feel like a .300 WSM?
Ahhh great video and good shootin… I,m trying to remember what firearm the Mike Raagauge’s sports fair of 2010 in Norco,California(Its warrented to cry tears of shame if u where near and missed it!shame on u)used on the second day of the three day event..and the booth.As soon as I seen the 110ba,I new it was savage and that was the rifle indeed{not as dressed up as this beauty}.I was misfortunate enuff to miss the Barret .416 so this was the biggest they had.It was about 2 30-06rounds at once!
Shot one today,very nice gun,easy to use with minimal recoil shock. This video does’nt do the gun justice,you cant feel the power it has.
Man….Great buy!!! The 110 BA is soooo sweet…I think I will be buying a 10 FCP-K soon!! Savage are great! I love my 93R17 FV
@SUPERSPARTA41 Almost 16 pounds.
