i dont think 44 mag will be good for deer bud?
Good to see young people into firearms, if you plan on going into bear country get a Marlin guide gun 45-70 and perhaps carry a 10mm on your hip. That is what I carry in Alaska and when I go to N. Montana.? Nice video keep up the good work.
Nice video buddy! You’ll hear this a million times but the? most effective weapon is the one you have with you that you can use safely and effectively. You handled those weapons with confidence. Sling that lever action on your back and have a good time! The meanest critters I’ve ever met in the trail are people anyway lol!
good video. thank for not shooting the guns like a pussy,? and you took the slug from your shotgun really well
i carry a 45-70 lever gun when i head into bear country… hard? hitting round and i can cycle the gun quick for follow up shots
get a 12? ga with slugs & the lever action gun will do good for up close with a bear, but I agree with CovertAgentSkittles, .30-06 Springfield or a .300 Win Mag is best & A for effort. You should also bring a handgun (preferably a revolver) for back up & your running shoes if you miss with all…
Not the best selection, I wouldn’t go near a bear with a .22,
But A for effort.
I’d? personally prefer a 30-6 or a.300 magnum if it came down to a brown bear
But the one i prefer out of this group would have to be that .44 lever action.
no firearms in Glacier? allowed———— natl park.
kids cool
Have every one pack a gun and if yogi and boo boo show up with a bad attitude, Then all of you should shoot? him in the neck ,It is the weakest spot on a bear if you hit his spine he will go down .
The best gun to take is all of them give one? to each person in your family .And if yogi and boo boo come around every needs to shoot them in the neck its the bears weakest spot . Hit his spine and he will go down .
Nice job, It’s up to you the, younger generation to keep hunting and shooting alive. When I take my family to Yellowstone I carry a .357 mag revolver
in my? backpack and The wife and I carry a can of bear-spray on our belts.
Aw ,I was going to use that desk? for homework
@545krinkify well well well.? We meet again.
@halllee1000 45-70 bare minimum? On a scale of 1 - 10 how poor of judgement do you have? A 44 could easily lodge itself in the vital organs of a bear if you hit it in center mass. If you hit the head you have a 90% chance of killing that bear instantly. I advise you to revise? your previous comment.
Very good presentation young man, a very sensible penetration comparison test I must say. Although all of those guns would be good for deer or turkey, a bear is a different matter altogether, A lever action 45-70 would be the bare minimum caliber? that should ever be considered when in bear country. Even better would be a weatherby .340 or 378 magnum. You can never have too much gun in bear country but you easily can have too little. Have fun on your vacation.
@545Krinkify a 10mm is not even close to a 454 casull it has twice the power of a 44 mag at the muzzle a 10mm is a good man stopper and would work on black bear but a grizzly is a whole other story. The 454 has killed virtually everthing? that has walked the earth ill stick with something that has a proven history of stopping power. You keep squeezing your glock trigger and the bear will keep coming. When was the last time you got into a “gunfight” oh wise wizard of gunfighting.
@MrMatt5252 YOU DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT FIGHTING WITH A GUN, YOU CAN POP OFF? SHOTS ALOT QUICKER WITH A 10MM THAN A 454 AND ITS ONLY A LITTLE LESS POWERFUL, MORE ROUNDS ON TARGET IS BETTER STOPPING POWER
NO BULLET WILL STOP A CHARGING GRIZZLY DEAD IN ITS TRACKS, EVEN A 50BMG
SO JUST SHUT YOUR IGNORANT LITTLE MOUTH AND PUT YOU DADDYS DICK BACK IN IT
IF YOUR CONFIDENT IN YOUR SHOOTING ABILITY ID GO WITH THE 16 GA SLUG IF NOT THE 44 MAG? FOR BACK UP SHOTS.
@545Krinkify? EVEN A GLOCK 20 AS NICE AS IT IS WONT PUT DOWN A GRIZZLY DEAD IN ITS TRACKS. IF YOU ARE TAKING A PISTOL IT HAD BETTER BE A 454 CASULL OR LARGER AND AT LEAST A 12 GAUGE PUMP WITH SLUGS IF YOU WANT A SHOTGUN.
Good boy…. I like you. Nice presentation.?
None of these are good choices but the lever action .44 magnum is the best of the group? you have here. You definitely need more than one shot available in a caliber you can count on penetrating.
I like your video…… :-)?
@lowcarb85 NEVER BRING A KNIFE? TO A GUN FIGHT DUMBASS
fuck that. if im in the woods i got my Glock 20 10mm on my hip, 250gr cast? loads
hes not a f@ggot , he’s just a good kid.?
