@curtispa Not trying to start anything but it does matter. Self defense is about being smart not being a badass. It’s smarter and much safer to hand over the wallet. I carry gun but hope to never use it. Anyways Google Jerome Ersland, the pharmacist that’s sitting in jail for self defense, he probably thought the same thing. I’m not saying it’s right but it is the law.

@EliteAmericans Maybe I am confusing his test with another 22 mag test I saw but in any event the ballistics above are pretty close.

@ArtisanTony tnoutdoors was actually testing .22 long rifle, not magnum. The magnum rounds have twice the energy of the lr’s he tested.
@bogie89 he woulda got shot if he had a bigger caliber too. Centerfires don’t drop people like in the movies. Unless, it is a golden tiger striped hi point 45, and it vaporizes everything in its path.
@bogie89 you need to watch some ballistics testing on 22 mag. Check out tnoutdoors9 testing on it. I think I remember 13 inches of penetration. A 40 gr bullet traveling at about 2000 fps will put about 340 f.lbs on you in a heart beat. For a pocket pistol that ain’t bad. I prefer my Colt 70 series 1911 .45 ACP but what the heck

@kylejc21 I know how dangerous the .22 round is, yea it travels around the body, whoopty do. When defending yourself a .22 is superior to hand to gun combat but I’d just rather have something larger. Great backup gun. I’m not trying to bust your balls Tex just my personal opinion. Keep making the great videos.
