The Stevens Model 200 is in my opinion an excellent hunting rifle, and if you are a police marksmen who has to buy his own rifle it could also serve in that function as well. The Calibers of the stevens 200 are 223 22-250 243 25-06 270 7mm-08 308 30-06 7mm rem mag 300 win mag So take your pick and expect to get out the door with the rifle for less than 0 with a very high value gun.
Well, this is one of the final standard-def videos to be posted to the OKFirearms Channel–HD coming January 2010! We took the TRG-22 out to the range on a cold, rainy day here in Oklahoma to test some new handloads and see how the mechanism and scope performed in inclement weather. After a few tweaks of the scope, we dialed it in and I shot a sweet 10-shot group from 350 yards. The handload was 42 grains of MR 4064 powder with a 168 grain Sierra BTHP. We also used two cameras and walkies to try and capture the realtime shooting experience for the video. Sure beats walking downrange to look at targets!

I was out shooting and decided to do a little target work @ 100 yards. believe it or not, i actually only fired the six shots shown in the video at the target! I only missed the 12″ X 12″ target with one round. I was pleased but have a lot of improving to do. PART 1 of 2 ///////////////// Taking the long drive (for me) down to Impact Guns in Ogden is always worth it. That’s because this is one of the biggest and most serious tactical weaponry stores in the world. Few places with have on display and usually in-stock the variety of precision rifles, long rang guns (like .50 cals) , combat shotguns, the world’s best pistols, carbines, Class III weapons, suppressors, magazines, ammo, knives, and accessories to this level. It’s a mini gun show at the Impact “mothership.” This segment focuses on the precision bolt gun rack and I talk some philosophy there. I was very impressed with that limited edition Camo’d Ruger M77 Hawkeye…lightweight, compact, good looking, and affordable for what it is! Wondering over to the handgun case, we’ll look at some of their extensive CZ pistol line as well. Time flies of course and I wasn’t able to do many segments before the store closed so this series is limited.
