Website: www.keltecweapons.com MSRP 5.00 Info I Found: The PMR-30 is a light weight, full size pistol chambered for the flat-shooting .22Magnum cartridge (.22WMR). The PMR-30 operates on a unique hybrid blowback/locked-breech system. This operation system allows for the use of a wide variety of ammunition as it seamlessly adjusts between locked breach and blowback operation, depending on the pressure of the cartridge. It uses a double stack magazine of a new design that holds 30 rounds and fits completely in the grip of the pistol. The trigger is a crisp single action with an over-travel stop. The manual safety is a thumb activated ambidextrous safety lever (up for SAFE, down for FIRE). The slide locks back after the last shot and a manual slide lock lever is also provided. The light, crisp trigger pull and fiber optic sights make the PMR-30 ideal for target shooting and hunting small game. KelTec PMR-30 22 Magnum Review (The Poor Man’s FN57)

I was fortunate enough to get a PMR 30 on loan from Tactical Gun Review.com (TGR). This thing is a PURE joy to shoot! Aside from having what I believe is an acceptable magazine capacity (interject super big smile here), the pistol shot flawlessly with the two types of ammo I had on hand. The recoil was next to nothing and the fireball out the muzzle was exciting. The weight of the pistol was nearly nothing. I wore the PMR-30 in a holster on my hip for the better part of the day while roaming the countryside with the family. I almost never knew it was there because of the weight, or lack of. I may have to pick one of these up for myself down the road. NOTE: “The Gap” I referred to in the video got me thinking. So I looked in a couple of gun magazine publications and found a marketing photo for the PMR-30. The gun in the photo also had the gap. So maybe it’s supposed to be there, but why? The only reason I can think of is that there needs to be a little room for the slide to clear the frame under recoil. I suspect during recoil that the plastic frame is flexing and if there was a tight fit between frame and slide, the slide may hit the end of the frame. But this is only a guess. Never the less, I think it is a fun pistol. See www.TacticalGunReview.com for in depth user reviews on guns and optics.

I was out shooting and decided to do a little target work @ 100 yards. believe it or not, i actually only fired the six shots shown in the video at the target! I only missed the 12″ X 12″ target with one round. I was pleased but have a lot of improving to do. Please stay tuned for some 200 yard shooting with my same Ruger Super Redhawk ,44 Magnum (7.5″ barrel). Ammo is the stuff I outlined verbally in the video. Comparing two rifles, both chambered in fine calibers. The 30-06 named “THE CLEANER” clearly has the edge on the .17 HMR as far as its destructive capabilities. An accuracy comparison video will follow- keep an eye out for it on my channel. Songs were: Undead by ~ Hollywood Undead TNT by ~ AC/DC If you have questions, please comment.
