The PMR-30 operates on a unique hybrid blowback/locked-breech system. This is a simple observation in my opinion of the Ruger sp101’s recoil and how a woman would handle firing/shooting this particular handgun. I did this review based on my first time firing this gun and how powerful the 158gr 357mag ammo is in this little snub nose revolver. I am by no means a professional nor do I profess to be. Unique Revolver. Very easy to find and obtain early in the game. Pretty good pistol in general. Not the best, but better than most regular pistols. It has a small green light on the left side that turns yellow when you reload, along with a electrical squeaky sound for “power up” when fuctional after reloading, and the light turns green again. This weapon requires a Strength of 6 or higher to be wielded most effectively. - repaired only with the Weapon Repair Kit or by vendors, with Jury Rigging: 9mm Pistol, 9mm SMG, 10mm Pistol, 10mm SMG, .357 Magnum Revolver, .44 Magnum Revolver, Silenced .22 Pistol, Sawed-off Shotgun, 12.7mm Pistol and Detonator - does not benefit from the Cowboy perk, despite the fact that its a revolver - the key to the storage room can also be pickpocketed from Cliff, or be purchased during the quest ‘Come Fly With Me’, but seriously, if you want this gun, pick the lock and steal it More info and stats: fallout.wikia.com
Unique .357 Magnum Revolver. Lucky is different from the standard .357 magnum revolver in that it has an Ivory handle with a club on it. It is also a dark gunmetal gray color as opposed to a bright silver. Mossberg redesigned the .702 plinkster and turned it into a tactical rifle that resembles it’s more well known counterparts the AR15, M4, and M16 style assault rifles. 250-300 rounds of various ammo through this gun and not one hiccup!! Purchased at Gander Mountain for 0 during the Thanksgiving sales. It is worth the money and I only wish I had purchased 2. LOL. If you’re thinking about getting this as a FUN plinking type of gun don’t think any further go out and get it, you won’t be sorry!!!
I was out shooting and decided to do a little target work @ 100 yards. believe it or not, i actually only fired the six shots shown in the video at the target! I only missed the 12″ X 12″ target with one round. I was pleased but have a lot of improving to do. Please stay tuned for some 200 yard shooting with my same Ruger Super Redhawk ,44 Magnum (7.5″ barrel). Ammo is the stuff I outlined verbally in the video.
