22 CALIBER AIR RIFLE PELLET TEST ~ THE 4 MOST COMMON DESIGNS….. Pointed, round nose, flat nose and hollow point pellets being tested on some nopalito, aka cactus… As the video shows the hollow point pellet expands allot more than the other three, creating a rather large wound channel through the cactus… Unless the game is rather large, most pellets will over penetrate but not the hollow points… They dump the air rifle/pellet energy allot faster than the other 3 kinds and that is why they are so efficient and taking down small game… Thanks for watching… bigtomscience
I made this video to find out what’s the best pellet for shooting apples. The Beeman Crow-magnum and wadcutter pellets seem to do the most damage. Round nose pellets appeared to deliver the least amount of carnage.
I fired several different kinds of .22 caliber pellets through my Walther Talon Magnum in order to find the most accurate pellet. All shots were fired at a distance of 25 feet. Here is a compilation of my latest shooting with some .22, 12 gauge, and .357/.38. I am just starting to shoot guns regularly, so hopefully these videos will get better as time goes on.
Shooting all sorts of targets with .22 Magnum rifle using CCI hollow points and Hornady vMax rounds. Lots of splatter and wasteful destruction of otherwise good products. One digital camcorder and 3 digital SLR cameras captured the video and stills. Includes music and slow motion of every shot.
www.pyramydair.com So my first experience with Crosman (Benjamin’s) new super magnum gas ram powerhouse started out rocky, but ended like a dream. Well over 900 FPS with lead pellets and 800 fps with moderately heavy lead pellets. Shooting tight groups will take a lot of practice and patience. The trigger system needs a lot of work, and the recoil, while better than a metal spring, is still very severe and require excellent technique to shoot well. But… if you can get it all to work together, you can deliver a lot of energy on target. Good rifle that could be better. Let’s all encourage Crosman to BUILD A BETTER TRIGGER!!!.
