Very Very nice pistol made by daisy. The valve was not scewed on all the way resticting the valve spirng then it caused the O-ring to pop out of the valve. So I went to work when I was taking the gun apart is when I seen how well built this pistol it. Got it all back together and no leaks with full power.
Getting over 600 FPS from a 14.7 gr pellet with a standard 12 gm co2 canister. This will blow away your browning 800 mag in .22 caliber. Browning 800 mag will get you 535 FPS with a 14.7 gr pellet. Converting the Crosman 2240 to PCP would get you even more power.
www.pyramydair.com So my first experience with Crosman (Benjamin’s) new super magnum gas ram powerhouse started out rocky, but ended like a dream. Well over 900 FPS with lead pellets and 800 fps with moderately heavy lead pellets. Shooting tight groups will take a lot of practice and patience. The trigger system needs a lot of work, and the recoil, while better than a metal spring, is still very severe and require excellent technique to shoot well. But… if you can get it all to work together, you can deliver a lot of energy on target. Good rifle that could be better. Let’s all encourage Crosman to BUILD A BETTER TRIGGER!!!.
This is Crosman’s new Nitro Piston Short Stroke. This .22 cal version really hits the mark and hits it hard. It has quickly become one of my top 10 rifles.
Ok I know this is not a airgun. But it can be like one. This small pistol is very versatile pistol. It can be loaded with nothing more then toy caps & airgun pellets or just a Mag percussion cap & pellet. For low noise low power target parlor pistol. Or use powder & a 36 gn Ein jin will blow a clean hole right thru 2inchs of pine & half way into a phone book. You can load 3 gamo lead balls in .22 for buck shot spaced with a bit of paper. I will be taking it with me on a hunt to see if I can score a rabbit with it from a good distance.

ONE MEAN BB GUN!!!! Ok your so post to use lead ball but man at 1200 rpm that would cost a lot to shoot. BBs are cheap & when flying this fast they almost mushroom upon impact.
