The Stevens Model 200 is in my opinion an excellent hunting rifle, and if you are a police marksmen who has to buy his own rifle it could also serve in that function as well. The Calibers of the stevens 200 are 223 22-250 243 25-06 270 7mm-08 308 30-06 7mm rem mag 300 win mag So take your pick and expect to get out the door with the rifle for less than 0 with a very high value gun.

“Circles of Death” .22 Rifle Drill by Nutnfancy

You can have an amazing amount of fun at your indoor or outdoor range with your .22 rifle. Welcome to the Nutnfancy “Circles of Death” .22 (or airgun) Drill or COD. A computer generated sheet with precise 3/8″ circles, stacked in neat rows, provide the target. Plan on using a good scope, preferably one that focus down to close ranges for maximum accuracy (Weaver RV9 shown, recommended still). If you have two shooting lanes then two shooters can compete against each other as shown in a elevated stress rapid fire drill where accuracy will win the day. My favorite gun in these drills is the .22 bolt action rifle. The Marlin 925 is one of the best in the world I think: ultra smooth, fast, holds 10 rounds (with the Marlin 10 rd mag purchased separately), has a great trigger (T900), is amazingly accurate with its Micro Groove rifling (really works), lightweight, has a perfect barrel profile, and is extremely affordable. In this vid, this quintessential and personal favorite .22 bolt gun goes up against the also excellent CZ 452 “American.” The quality levels in terms of finish in the 452 are higher: gorgeous walnut stock with sharp checkering and an amazing bluing job. It also has a great trigger and top notch accuracy. However in this drill its bolt manipulation is a distant second when binding is encountered and a special techinque is needed to achieve the faster speeds of the Marlin 925. Polishing the bolt and components may help slick it up (however that shouldn’t be needed

Sako TRG-22 Sniper Rifle - Cold Weather Handload Shooting

Well, this is one of the final standard-def videos to be posted to the OKFirearms Channel–HD coming January 2010! We took the TRG-22 out to the range on a cold, rainy day here in Oklahoma to test some new handloads and see how the mechanism and scope performed in inclement weather. After a few tweaks of the scope, we dialed it in and I shot a sweet 10-shot group from 350 yards. The handload was 42 grains of MR 4064 powder with a 168 grain Sierra BTHP. We also used two cameras and walkies to try and capture the realtime shooting experience for the video. Sure beats walking downrange to look at targets!

I was out shooting and decided to do a little target work @ 100 yards. believe it or not, i actually only fired the six shots shown in the video at the target! I only missed the 12″ X 12″ target with one round. I was pleased but have a lot of improving to do. Please stay tuned for some 200 yard shooting with my same Ruger Super Redhawk ,44 Magnum (7.5″ barrel). Ammo is the stuff I outlined verbally in the video. I thank my good friend Steven for the camera work. Thanks for watching, everyone! Comparing two rifles, both chambered in fine calibers. The 30-06 named “THE CLEANER” clearly has the edge on the .17 HMR as far as its destructive capabilities. An accuracy comparison video will follow- keep an eye out for it on my channel. Songs were: Undead by ~ Hollywood Undead TNT by ~ AC/DC If you have questions, please comment. Disposal of trash at our destructo-land is explained in the credits at the end of the video.
