Don’t waste your ammo, invest it. The way to do that is doing a Nutnfancy-type “RunNGun” with your friends and family. While benchrest, tin can shooting , and paper punching have their place and are fun, these days I’m a fan of our heart pumping, competitive RunNGuns. Here’s my AMT Automag II in .22 Win Mag Jamming up again. After about 20 rounds, it will jam, and the pistol must be torn down and cleaned. The dimples which are machined into the breech were designed to hold onto the casing longer while the propellant is ignited. AMT went out of business several years ago (go figure), and there is no customer support for this pistol.
