@Maurice419 i’m in? the process of painting it again. Coyote brown and black
Clear? coat
@LoCoZoMbiEKiLleR no haven’t tried the clear coat i didn’t think? abou that.
@imgaryk it’s a? conversation piece
@imgaryk yes i agree it really does look good black,? i just like the red for something different.
@AmericanMade72 i love mine too it’s an? awesome shooter.
Have you tried just using a clearcoat over the red?? It will help peeling? and chipping and you can use flat or gloss…just a thought
10/22 looks good in? all black!
I love? my 10-22!
I know there are other better things than duracoat out there….may take some research but am sure you can find something? you will be happy with.
@zombiekillerjordan yeah that’s what i’m thinkin’ too, but i’m gonna go with Duracoat and the? only thing close to that is brick red and i don’t like that, i would like a blood red.
@zombiekillerjordan oh yeah Slipknot is one? of my faves of all time
Also? great music
I? think a dark crimson red would look very nice.
@gunnwild1 i would say so i just checked on that actually and they offer a? couple red colors. i’m gonna go that route
@breatheeasy420
I wonder if duracoat would work better. ? I don’t know anything about duracoat, but it seems to work on firearms.
@gunnwild1 yeah the one i got said made for plastic but it was cheapo spray shit. i thought it would be ok? but i guess not made for firearms. i really wanna keep it red though.
Try using a paint that is made for plastic. That might? help.
I have two 10/22’s and I love them, fantastic rifle. One is stock and the other is tricked out. Krylon makes a primer made for plastic, that might help? or maybe use heat paint.
