Why not do something to improve the accuracy? I.e., match barrel, trigger group, action bedding etc…

    Thats what I was thinking.

I’ve picked my 10/22 up by the scope a hundred times and never lost zero. And this is a built up GM barreled custom on a revolution stock capable of 1/4″ groups at 25yds. As long as you don’t jerk the think around and put pressure on the nonsupported ends of the scope, you’re not going to knock off the zero on a stock 10/22 that shoots “minute of squirrel” accuracy out of the box anyway. Small things like that get overblown.

Never hold a gun by the scope. By doing it you can offset the scope.

XD Muzzle break on a 22!? you give the word Gun-Masturbator a face! haha

looks nice but as you said at 0:31 you can use that space in between the scope rings as a carry handle. BAD IDEA. It could knock your scope out of place if you jerk the slightest amount on it. nice vid though. 5/5

sweet, but ditch the stock stock, and go with an aftermarket

john you might want to invest in an inexpensive digital still camera that can also do audio/video. that web cam seems to be really low on the FPS. gotta love those 10/22’s though. check out the new Ruger Charger,Magnum Research too . i think you will like both

I use a web cam to make my videos, I don’t have a camcorder so I can’t make vids outdoors. As soon as I get one I will make some. But right now my money goes into buying rifles… :)

so why do we never see videos of you shooting? you have so many awesome guns, but no shooting?

lol Ya they sound like they would be fun but I have heard some bad things about the big 50drums

  23. 23 JOHNFMKN said at 7:55 am on May 2nd, 2009:

Butler Creek mags are very reliable but the steel lips are expensive. I just buy the ones on sale or cheapest I can find. But I do want to get one of those 50 round drum magazines.

  24. 24 kickedintheballs2000 said at 7:55 am on May 2nd, 2009:

How’s that Butler Creek working for ya?

Is it Hot lips or Steel lips?

I Find the Steel lips works the best in my 22

  25. 25 JOHNFMKN said at 7:55 am on May 2nd, 2009:

That’s an Eagle 30rd mag. I also use Butler Creek, Ramline, and ProMag.
