@zboyco If you are going for accuracy, you can reload the 174 grain HPBT match .311 Horandy round in the wolf gold brass. That is consistant sub-moa ammo; but it is heavy ball and you will need to upgrade your rifle. Easiest upgrade is the DEZ arms adjustable gas block. Or you can build a reinforced receiver with recoil buffer+stronger recoil spring as I have.
@comblocarms yes it is
You should try the Wolf Gold 7.62×54R, its light ball non-corrosive and for me its been the most accurate commercial light ball ammo.
4-8×42 POSP IR
what scope do you currently have on that?
s&b have been the most successful so far at the same price
Wolf is now making a 148gr round that i haven’t shot yet, but i hear is pretty good. This is not the wolf gold, which is actually made by privi partisan. It is steel cased with their plastic coating on it. It will run you about $10 bucks for a box of 20.
thanks. thats good brass stuff
privi partisan
damn that bag looks like its from nam
Sellior and Bellot sell 7.62×54R soft point and FMJ new
I hear the PSL likes it though. your probably SOL on other light ball current production, no can find bud, 182 gr is everywhere, cant find squat in other weights
yea like 50 cents a round!!!
Wolf goldline FMJ is the lightest I can find. 150gr as far as current production ammo goes, not super cheap either
Scope looks great! Glad to see you finally mounted it.
Maybe it’s time to start thinking about loading your own 7.62 light ball ammo?
That way you can get the load that you want .
ha ha ha, you smelt some ruskies ass! lol
cool video bro.
i think cheaper than dirt has 7.62×54r that is non corosive, but not sure if its in stock.
I think you should sell that scope for $95
i could probably tell u but they dont ship the ammo couse there lazy u half to pick it up
checked it out.that stuff is corrosive
scope is rated out to 1000 yards. ive only shot as far as 200 yards and can group it within a large fist size
cheaper than dirt, ammo depot,
You should get intouch with some gun dealers (traffic). Those guys can make you a great deal on ammo (If you’re willing to buy large numbers of ammo of course).
Peace.
Dave.
no idea on the scope price , but whats ur accurate distance with that scope u got on their now and what power is it?
Try SPORTSMANS GUIDE they have 149gr bugarian non-corrosive ammo. going for $95.00 for 440 rds.
