agreed^ however, it will make a nice primer fire gun when I’m done with mine! I hope! I’ll likly put a longer barrel on with a silencer, fake if I have to to avoid legal troubles.

lol, the marksman 1010 is so powerfull it went right into a soda can at point blank range after much oiling and spring (shimming), it even dented the other side!!! man watch out for the 1010, lol, j/k’ing. Its so funny doing long distance shots and watching that pellet fall well before the target, lol. Yep I like my 2240’s and Skiff’s power no screwing around there! NOT TOYS!

I do have a marksman 1010 and I doubt it would even have enough power to split on the blade, it would likly mark the pellet then bounce off, lol. I’m working on Making it into a cool litle much more powerful primer fire gun using 209 primers or #11 caps with powder stuffed in the pellet skirt etc.

the Top cap of the valve’s side walls were worn down by stupidity from boring the cap out on a drill press and not protecting the top,(where the top seal goes) from spinning on the drill press table, the result was worn down side walls. The valve worked for a while, but I guess its not good anymore. If you have just the 2240 Valve cap thats all I need as I have a brand new top seal, I just don’t want to waste it on this crappy cap as the sides will likly blow out again. Ammo? Next week somtime,

Yep thats the one, beleive it or not it also shoots pellets and darts. It is your basic peice of shit “so called airgun” It has a range like no other 30 feet falling rapidly to the ground.

Want a challenge do you have one of those crappy Marksman air pistols. The 200 fps spring loaded one, Try doing the trick with one of these, On second thought (better not) it might bounce back at you.

I was gwaking at that a few years ago but desided to get the 2240. With the longer berrel and brake the is almost no kick plus its .22 hits harder.

Do you you just need a seal for your valve? whats wrong with the valve cap? Did you damage it during valve work?
Let me know maybe i can help When do you need ammo?

  24. 24 Nwest82 said at 7:57 pm on July 20th, 2010:

Really cool trick! My 2240 is down for the count until I get a new valve, Might as well get the BOSS valve. Unless I can get a new valve cap for cheap. Guess I’ll have to try this trick with the .177 Skiff, lol. Really though the Skiff A-3000 is not nearly as inaccurate as people have stated in some reviews.
