    The mag version has something like 1/4 to 1/3 more energy (in the 1 5/8″ barrel). I’d consider that a significant boost, but others might not. It’s a bigger difference than the +P versions of most pistol cartridges though.

    There are also actual jacketed bullets (instead of just copper plated) in .22 magnum. A consideration for penetration.

    its a good backup gun because it takes up literally no room… hell you could have it as a backup to your backup if you’re paranoid enough. xD

    Sorry to burst your bubble but the 22 Mag is crap from the itty-bitty barrel on these things, barely does better than the standard 22LR from them.

    No dumb questions yet this is borderline. 22’s are very bad to get shot by and would have to get shot just right NOT to get killed.

    YES, the 22 mag will kill a man. You shoot him in the knee his nose will bleed. Very nasty round. I have this gun as a back up and never leave home without it. Fits in the pocket nice. My primary carry is a Ruger sp101 .357 mag
