Mossberg Tactical .22 Plinkster or Mossberg 702 plinkster

Posted: December 17th, 2010 | Author: zackpow | Filed under: 22 Magnum Rifles | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

Mossberg redesigned the .702 plinkster and turned it into a tactical rifle that resembles it’s more well known counterparts the AR15, M4, and M16 style assault rifles. 250-300 rounds of various ammo through this gun and not one hiccup!! Purchased at Gander Mountain for 0 during the Thanksgiving sales. It is worth the money and I only wish I had purchased 2. LOL. If you’re thinking about getting this as a FUN plinking type of gun don’t think any further go out and get it, you won’t be sorry!!!

Not a bad option. If you already have an AR15 platform, you can also consider a Ciener Type 22LR conversion kit. CMMG makes a decent one and they can be had for under $150 with a 26rnd magazine. Black dog machine makes an excellent Ciener compatible mag for under $25.

Good review for the mossberg. I have looked at this a couple of times but have never pulled the trigger on its purchase. I might end up with one before long just to do some plinking. Thanks for the review, posting and sharing with us.

@GHOSTMAN2NV Wow, 25 rounds that’s cool. How much are they and have you tested the quality of the mag? Are they aftermarket mags or mossberg 702? I would love to pick one up but cant find any in my area

Nice video, just picked one up for. $235 with 25 round mag from gungenie. Nice gun for price . The 25. Round mag is full thickness ,not skinny but wiggles in gun, not tight fit. But looks great. Can’t wait to shoot it

Thanks again for making videos. I have the M&P 15-22 and I love it. I have really been drooling over SIG’s tactical .22 but it is on a long list of guns to buy. I have put up a number of new videos recently if you are interested. Keep up the vids!

@EmpathyWorks You picked a really good rifle when you purchased the M&P 15-22. I’m thinking about getting the M&P 15-22P. We’ll see, LOL. I want an AR15, glock, and the M&P then I think I will stop. SMH
