@CharlieDoan couldnt have said it better myself. I kick myself in the ass for selling my used 10/22 I bought for $100 @ pawn shop… and went out and bought an over priced and poorly constructed G.S.G 5. That thing sucks

a hundred bucks for a stock for a 10/22 what did you think it was gonna be made of. on all the sites i saw it on it plainly stated that this item is made out of plastic. Take your face mask off you jerk.
it seemed to work fine in WWII
I thought it looked cool but like this guy it did look like a cheap peice of shit like alot of other 10/22 stocks

@aaron0313 Actually I really appreciate your reviews. I get sick of forums where everyone has an opinion and half the people probably have never even held the weapon. Yeah this thing was a POS but someone out there might have been thinking of buying one until they saw this.

Keep 10/22 original is the best! Why bother with junk after market?

And how many assault rifles currently on the market are not at least 30% platic or more? I own a Steyr USR, and the whole stock and firing mechanism is plastic. The difference is it’s made for combat, can be run over by a 2 ton truck, and still work. i had one of these MG42 stocks, and the plastic was so cheap, it split and cracked around the screw holes to mount it to the 10/22 while just sitting in a closet.

You are correct, but you don’t realize it’s a POS till you get it. Many companies manufactur high quality plastic stocks for assault rifles and hunting rifles. I also bought one of these and sent it back because just sitting in the closet doing nothing cracks the plastic. It’s cheap trash.

@aaron0313 its not a combat patch asshole i ment its where your combat patch goes but im sure you already knew that you get a patch on that side when your overseas…. and you dont have a unit patch on the left side were everone else in the army has one ATTENTION TO DETAIL bro switch it to the left side .. not tryin to be a dick im just sayin you wanna wear all that shit wear it right and respect the people who actually put on that uniform on everyday
