PART 1 of 2 ///////////////// Taking the long drive (for me) down to Impact Guns in Ogden is always worth it. That’s because this is one of the biggest and most serious tactical weaponry stores in the world. Few places with have on display and usually in-stock the variety of precision rifles, long rang guns (like .50 cals) , combat shotguns, the world’s best pistols, carbines, Class III weapons, suppressors, magazines, ammo, knives, and accessories to this level. It’s a mini gun show at the Impact “mothership.” This segment focuses on the precision bolt gun rack and I talk some philosophy there. I was very impressed with that limited edition Camo’d Ruger M77 Hawkeye…lightweight, compact, good looking, and affordable for what it is! Wondering over to the handgun case, we’ll look at some of their extensive CZ pistol line as well. Time flies of course and I wasn’t able to do many segments before the store closed so this series is limited. But trust me, I’ll be going back. /////////////////// Occasionally I will crank out a vid nowadays in HD but it since it slows down my production time I’m not really planning on it being my standard. I’m trying this camera out since my last Sanyo Xacti died on me. Hope you like this two part series…more to come later on.

Trouble with a 300 win mag or any magnum is heat. As soon as that round heats up that barrel your accuracy is gone. Also you get way too much mirage in the scope from the barrel heat. 308 is the way to go.
The name is Steyr. Pronounced ST-EYE-ER. Not stair.

I am liking that CZ-95 with the walnut grips at 24:04. Actually more than most other guns you’ve shown us in this first part of the visit. *sigh* But it’s just a dream that will never be.

Not that I’d want it to be, either, at that price. Though it all comes down to if I had the money to spare, and in that case, the price for it suddenly becomes non-issue. Plus, I’m not legally allowed to own a pistol due to age, go figure. So that’s why I’m trying to get my hands on a Marlin Papoose.

(sorry clicked it early) ..inventory. I’ll make a video next week of a walk though but I wont talk about their inventory like you do. Im not that privileged to get behind the counter lol. Though I cant say I have asked..

I think my Scottsdale Gun Club has more of a showroom and indoor range than Impact. Is this where they store their inventory though? Then I would say they could possibly be bigger than SGC. You definitely need to take a trip to AZ and do a video there. A good 5.11 tactical

They are not as light as you think. The New Sakos are guaranteed MOA accurate and are lighter for just a little more money.

I enjoyed this. Thanks for posting. I’m looking to get a Savage model 10 precision carbine and would appreciate any feedback anyone can give me about this gun. I’m looking for something light enough for stalking deer but sturdy enough for accuracy out to 500-600 yards. Thanks!
