Heritage Arms Rough Rider .22LR / .22 Mag Revolver Review

Posted: July 13th, 2011 | Author: zackpow | Filed under: 22 Magnum Pistol | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

A quick video on my Heritage Arms Rough Rider .22LR & .22 Magnum, made here in the USA, all parts and labor are from American hands, made in Miami Florida. I have over 2000 rounds on it without a single malfunction, this thing just works and it is very accurate and well balanced. It just fits the hand and balances like a dream. I purchased this one at Academy Sports, they had a sale for 9 and this was the last one, the display model, so I got another off and walked out with it for 9. The fact that it has both cylinders is the main attractive feature for me as it provides relative flexibility others don’t.

@thetigerfmradio Definitely get the adjustable sight model, the fixed sight shoots way high at any reasonable handgun range. I think you’ll come to love the accuracy and reliability, mine shoots high but all the shots are incredibly tight.

@ThePatriotGunner Time will tell, I’ve got about 2,000 rounds through it and so far so good. I’ve also read elsewhere there are wear issues later on so we’ll see. Thanks

The only knock on Heritage Arms products are the metal they use in production. Long term usage wears more rapid than other similar firearms. But for the price, it makes a great plinker. Thanks for sharing.
