    In martial arts there is a saying - “it takes a 1000 repetitions before you start mastering the move”. With every video I see your shooting is getting pretty tight. I guess within two years you can paint happy faces on your targets!!! LOL Good review on Kel Tec handgun.

    @huntwithairguns You should see my chrony test then. I average 1900 fps in a 8.5″ barrel with my reloads.

    @MnTrucker1984 .22 mag isn’t going to be going 2000fps out of a handgun…probably closer to 1400 fps.

    I think this’ll end up dominating the .22 Magnum market. Kel-Tec ROCKS

    Tennessee. I don’t think New England would like me much.

    @MnTrucker1984 There is an old saying: If your on the street bring a handgun, if your in the home bring a shotgun, and if your on the battle field bring a rifle. If you want thirty rounds or more look in a handgun look into Berettas or Glocks Take the bigger bullet with more speed.

  14. 14 MnTrucker1984 said at 5:30 am on October 1st, 2010:

    @Mrcaffinebean 22 mag to small for self defense? Seriously? Look up the ballistics. Even better with a 30 rounds to sling. 2000 to 2200 FPS with a 40 grain bullet It will rip your insides apart as the bullet tumbles through you. Typical 9mm Remington golden saber 147 grain is 960 to 990 on average. Yes I know heavier bullet but i have seen results of guys getting up and walking away after multiple 9mm hits. Not so much with the tumbling effects of the 22 mag.

    @dirites During Shot-Show this year Kel-tec said that they would be making a 22LR version of the gun. So the answer to that question should be a yes. I believe they are considering the idea of a 17HMR version as well.

  17. 17 Mrcaffinebean said at 5:30 am on October 1st, 2010:

    Nice! Way to small for self defense but still nice!

  18. 18 Everett07630 said at 5:30 am on October 1st, 2010:

    Certainly an innovative pistol. A number of other gun reviewers have compared the Kel-Tec PMR-30 to the FN Five-Seven albeit a less expensive equally well-designed option. Do you think that’s an accurate comparison? I guess they base it on the idea that .22 cal magnum is similar to 5.7×28mm.

  19. 19 dirites said at 5:30 am on October 1st, 2010:

    Do you know if it will come in the caliber .22LR?

    Pretty amazing handgun. Seemed like you’d never get to the end of that magazine in the test fire. Thanks for the review.
