@GunsKnivesSurvival Lol, not a great experience. I saw a guy last year on the firing line at a range I go to with a taurus .357. I asked him how he liked it. He hated it because it was nothing but problems. A REVOLVER that jams. Nice. So many stories from people I’ve spoken directly to thaat have had shitty taurus’s. I cringe thinking about? some poor guy camping, with a bear attacking them and their taurus jams. Screw those guns.
@thatguy66ish Great? story!
Good video. I had a taurus Pt99. I was a poor airman E3 in 1988. Always stove piped after the second mag. I was poor and only shot ball ammo. Piece of shit. I? finally sent it for it’s “free repair” that cost me $60 postage about 2 yrs ago. Sent me a “new”slide. I was sort of happy til I sprayed it down with breakfree and saw a river of orange rust come out. It still jammed. I feel sorry for the ignorant/naive new shooters buying taurus.But they’re usually angry at others that advise against.lol
@mick6701 Nope, that’s? another one I wish I hadn’t sold.
do you still have the? Mini-14?
@GunsKnivesSurvival lol it was ..and i had just bought it days earlier brand new when i took it back to have the gun shop look at it basically they told me they hadnt seen that happen b4 but what had probablly happened was since i had fired so many round the vibration had backed the? cylnder screws out and they put new screws in with lock tite and told me to keep an eye on it after that i had no problems with it at all great shooting gun
@xUbastardx I’ve had a few kel-tecs. Never had a problem. Never had? any experience with the PF9, though. Thanks for the heads up on the customer service.
@Maddawwg45 That? wold be embarrassing. Great story!
@XnNOBS Thanks. I think I might have? something down the line…
@GeneHarrogate Ouch! That? sucks!
@TheCanadianKnifeGuru I still can’t? believe it.
That Tarrus story was? the best!
I had a Stoeger 12 ga. side by side. One of those fancy, albeit el-cheapo, single trigger models. First time I took that 9lb monster? afield it failed in grand fashion. It had this safety/barrel selector on back of the receiver. Up/down for safe/fire, left/right to choose one’s preferred barrel. A grouse flushed about 5 yards to my right, I pivoted and manipulated the selector to fire, or so I thought. The damn thing got jammed diagonally. And both hammers to fell in unison.
Keltek PF9: bought one new; complete lemon. Mag would eject every other shot fired, gun would jam and not return to battery all the time. I took it back to my dealer who sent it in to KelTeck. 8 weeks went by and he called them to inquire. They were rude and unhelpfull to him on the phone. He then gave me a different new Keltek PF9 from behind the glass. I havent had any issues with this one as of yet but I’ll not be buying from? Keltek again.
@scooter17568 How a company stands behind its product is pretty important. Thanks for sharing!?
i bought a ruger blackhawk in 44 mag good gun so im not knocking ruger at all and while shooting at the range one day some deputies were quailfying with there side arms and were watching me shoot they got curious and let me shoot there glocks while i let them shoot mine first shot no prob went to cock it back and it the hammer whouldnt lock back so i took the firearm leaned it to the side and the cylnder fell out.. talk about embarresed? but some new screws and a lil lock tite fixed it
Great Videos! You should do some more knife reviews?
I went the opposite way as to size and bought the Beretta Tomcat…a little .32. First time to the range and first shot…the piece that holds down the little flip up barrel broke. Boy, will that make one mad. Happy to report? that I sent it to Beretta’s central US repair outfit, had it back in a week or so and it runs like a champ!
Excellent stories sir! I have only had one? gun I regretted buying, and that was my very first handgun - an Alfa Combat 9mm.
@gunnwild1 Whoa! That would be? a bad feeling.
I guess I’ve been lucky. I have only bought one lemon so far and that would be the Bersa Thunder. I took it to the range and fired a few round thru it and when? I dropped the mag out of it, parts fell out of the mag well.
GREAT stories brother. CHEERS from? west texas!!
@lpdavisakgto They hit the jackpot with? the Judge.
@TheDishD I couldn’t believe it!?
@adamador Thanks. I’ll be? using it this deer season.
