if it had a stock on it, then it would be deemed an SBR. its meant to be in pistol config. no foregrip allowed also. then it would be an AOW

That’s just fast trigger pull. If it was bump fire, the cyclic rate would be a lot higher.

plus i can legally have it in my car under my seat locked and loaded. 30 rounds of .223 against a gang of barbarians rushing my car with their ten round pistol caliber pistols, i will have the advantage. lol

Slightly oversized round for an undersized weapon. Look at how he handles the recoil when it is firing rapidly
Only thing i see a use for this gun is very CQC in really tight places where a longer barrel would be difficult around small close tight hallway corners might be perfect for home defense. Still its a cool looking gun!!!!

It is a pistol by legal definition only.
It has no stock, and no way to attach one, with a barrel that is under 16″.
IF he put a stock on it, it would qualify as an SBR, Short Barreled Rifle, which requires a $200 ATF registration.
AR pistols like this are regaurded as fun toys, not really practical.

it looks large because the giant “grip” that his left hand is holding on to is a flash-hider
by law it’s a “pistol” due to it’s size.
without the flash-hider it wouldn’t look so much like a very small carbine.
maybe if he put a buttsock on there it would be more comfortable to shoot
