Been wanting to get a .22 for awhile to add to the gun collection, and thanks Nutnfancy for the great recommendation. I picked one up at my local gun store the other day WITH Tapco stock already installed for $270 plus tax, freakin AWESOME.

they started using that duracoat stuff on the exterior of houses around here. looks great. i think they call it permacoat though.
Only thing missing on this rifle is a Tan Recoil Pad. It makes the gun stick to you better (judging from using my M4). Great for R.N.G. Compare it to having a rubber pistol grip vs. a plastic one. Here’s one for 10 bucks: (search for ” M4 6 Position Shorty Stock Butt Pad 3 colors ” on gunbroker). Great add-on. Plus the back of stock is a high-wear area.

huh? hmm no. i didn’t say anything about shooting games or being really good.
what i was trying to say is that unless you’re shooting with your eyes closed, hip firing it or whatever behind your back, it’s too easy to shoot. unless you’re a total idiot, anyone can shoot a 10/22 accurately

im just curious on this one- I fired a .22 rifle, semi auto. not a ruger I want to know what it its, magazine was a tube from the rear of the stock, and bolt handle was a round, stacked black washer looking deal.
yeah, AKs are freakin fun to shoot, held one before and loved the way it felt, just the stock and forend, sights, just fun.
I think the sound quality on this is higher than on other vids. just teh sound of the base drum and the pop! of the .22s
If you are having feed problems on a 10/22 with an aftermarket barrel and hi cap mag.Try swapping out that fancy EDM extractor for a stock Ruger part , problem solved
