@battleshiprail The 357 is sold everywhere. If you get the older model you are ok with the plastic grips. But the new 357 the grips have to go. Out comes the dremel tool.

@Xxoo0o0o0ooxX is it a dull silver color? mine is, its likely the same type of valve material. can it be bored out any? if so, what sizes?, or is changing the springs and widening the transfer port tube the only way to power-up these 357’s? I love the grips BTW!

@Nwest82 Becarfull The ones I have had the valves are all made out of pot metal

    Hey man,
I too have that nice 8″ barrel for my 357 I just took it apart last night to see how hard it would be to mod. Its quite a bit more complacited than the 2240 to mod, but I can do it, however, I plan on cutting 2 coils off of the valve spring, (or installing a lighter one), and finding a way to make that “transfer tube”, (the tube that goes from the co2 seal to the valve), larger to provide more flow but still be able to get the side cover back on. What other mods can I do for power?

Nope they are wood I just made them glossy.
these were A bit hard to make but the cheap plasic grip’s that the gun came with sucked.
do you have the newer 357 with combat grip’s or the older 357 model? The older model is some what easyer to make found some pic’s on Google. I have the newer 357 witch the handel
is smaller so it’s A bit tricky. can make A video of the grips off the gun if you wan’t. hey good luck with your’s (Remember your dremal is your best friend)

would you have any air pistols which you consider selling? like any 357? i would also be interested? and have paypal also. if not can you ask around

  21. 21 Xxoo0o0o0ooxX said at 12:43 am on July 23rd, 2010:

2240 is fare more powerful. the 357 is good for power but is more for fun. 2240 easy to mod, 357 hard to mod.

  22. 22 hhova29 said at 12:43 am on July 23rd, 2010:

so does the 357 shoot as hard as the 2240? i would prefer a gun that has more than one shot per round as the 2240 has. but if you dont rec. one i may just go w/ the 2240. let me know?

  23. 23 Xxoo0o0o0ooxX said at 12:43 am on July 23rd, 2010:

the 2240 can shoot real hard not like a firearm but close. the one i have and modded can put a hole tru a soup can and a hafe of a nother soup can it is powerful for a hevey pellet and does more damage then my benjamen .177 cal. that shoots at 800 FPS put a pellet right thru 2 bars of soap then put roap tru them mad soap on a roap would love to help if you want to mod this gun ow and i have the standerd 7 inch barrel on my mine (WEAK) will be geting 10 inch soon more power easy

  24. 24 hhova29 said at 12:43 am on July 23rd, 2010:

is this gun more powerful thn the gamo brand guns? also w/ the mods what is the proposed fps on it, and what pistol do you rec that has the most power. many people are saying the 2240 can even actually hurt a person like a real gun. is that true.

  25. 25 Xxoo0o0o0ooxX said at 12:43 am on July 23rd, 2010:
