i inherited a .22 rifle through the family that was my wife’s dads dads (grandpas)

    Wow… you showed a .22 mag round not a .22lr, and then proceeded to clean the thing from the? muzzle end with no bore guide. It’s guys like you that give guys like me counterbore and re-crowning jobs. Keep ‘em comin!

    @billstmaxx You should never? clean from the barrel end. Should clean from the breach side only and only in one direction. You can mess up the rifling,

    yeah it is pretty dirty for sure just at first look. all kinds of crusties down in the barrell. I usually use the nitro solvent on the wire brush and then just oil it up with the felt brush last. yeah that was nasty , looks like someone shot it several hundred times without cleaning it. i don’t trust those felt square pads to do a thorough enough job that’s why i use the felt brush and just oil the hell out of it when? i clean mine

    thats a nice .22 i own a few guns i got a .22 holds 18 bullets and 4 air rifles ..nice man i just bought a cheap china pellet rifle for? 10 bucks off a lady … and i must say ur camera is bad ass to pick up the bore of that .22 ,
