@CHOPERUS23 The only way you get changes is pressure due to temperature, assuming no leaks is to change the temperature. So if you charge it when it is warm in the house and you? go out to hunt squirrel at zero degrees, then the pressure would drop do to temp drop resulting in a drop in pressure. If the shooter goes out in the cold and then charges it, then the pressure would be like it would be in the summer. Just chanrge in the environment that you are shooting in and same same.

Sweet! I’ve been using my Benjamin 22, old 35 year old 8? pump air rifle with open sites to rid the property of destructive varmints. It’s also very loud.

@0:14? Why do they always use GAY PELLETS? For fuck’s sake… Use RWS SUPER-H POINTS, or POLYMAG PREDATORS in your advertisements… Hell, even MIESTERKLUGENS would better that the cheap shit they always show in these air gun ads…

@CHOPERUS23 You’re technically correct, but variance in temperature, unless we’re comparing the Arctic to Equador, doesn’t amount to more than what I’d call trace level changes. Most marksmen wouldn’t be skilled? enough to even see such a miniscule difference. As for ‘Nitro Piston’ rhetoric, yes, I’ve been into adult arguns for over 20 years now and I have to admit that Crosman’s advertising dept. really gave a sexier term than ‘gas ram’. lol

  6. 6 CHOPERUS23 said at 12:43 pm on January 23rd, 2012:

Nitro Piston is a posh name for a gasram. They? are good but temperature and pressure sensetive. As it’s a piston filled with gas, the gas gets cooler and thicker in colder weather changing power and zero.
Good in theory but unless the temperature is the same all year round velocity and power will change.

@Frankythe7 I think Crossman owns? Benjamin now.

@bajatproducts A nitro piston is just a like a Spring powered air rifle. It does not require filling? anything. It is a Break Barrel air rifle.

    what is a nitro piston,
does this cause you to refill?

Because these tests are for selling.
But what about quality, lets say after 300? shots?
My benjamin trail np all weather went defect within under 300 shots !
Grinding, pellets did not go into paper from 5-8 yards, so very weak.

Crosman/dutch resellers? bad after sales, they just do hand-laying and say: rifle is good, with nothing to support that, chrono impact etc…

@sanjosefan20 the? shrouded barrel already results in one of the quietest (at least in percieved sound) on the market.

Hi .I am from the UK. how can I uprate? my gun from 495 fps ( UK LAW ) to the US 950 fps. And how do I get a different trigger assembly. P-lease assist as I m,a new to this type of airgun. Thanks in anticipation

  24. 24 808CraftsmanCo said at 12:43 pm on January 23rd, 2012:

@xLiMexSuReShotzZ No. It just has Nitrogen in place? of a steel spring in the piston, therefore it shouldn’t weaken over time like steel.

i live in canada? so the max fps i can get is 495! what can it take down and from how far???
