@The1911Channel So you admit to being a douchebag? wannabe?
@pylsemaker OOOOH, i see. anyone that claims to know everything about everything is blowing smoke up your ass. that’s why we have specialists and reference books. have you ever seen pictures of Einstein? the guy was a total nutjob (and reportedly a cocaine user). don’t confuse intelligence with? personality. they are two completely different human traits.
@The1911Channel I ask because you couldn’t answer a simple enough question relating to the field you claim to be an expert in, and also because your language is more like that of a street thug than any scientist I ever heard of. There are so many Internet self-proclaimed experts, know-it-alls and bullshitters out there that you have to be careful who you trust these days. Not saying you’re a lying charlatan, but? you do throw up some red flags.
@pylsemaker yes, I really am, why do you ask. I’ll be doing some lab videos soon. I? was a forensic toxicologist for 20 of those years.
@The1911Channel So not a “laboratory scientist” with 30+ years experience after? all, huh?
for its for? stainless and parkerised guns only
Nice info, many thanks. As a new gun owner? this sort of info is very important.
I just realized today I have a $1500 nickle plated over/under shotgun and i’ve been using ballistol on it. Guess I won’t be doing that anymore. I? got some Mineral Oil today. Thanks for the education.
I have a nickle plated Colt Detective Special. When I need to do a good cleaning on it what do I use as far as a cleaner??
The guy is a fucking goof ball man. I like TheArmoryChannel but i’m not going to sub to every bone? head he recommends.
@MrCleanerNash? lmao!
Great vid!? very educational!
You are SO right-on!! Don’t try to waste your time dealing with morons and their weapon
macho-abilities. This is a great video and extremely educational… Buddy Hackett would be
proud…take MY word? for it.
Is Ballistol fine on my Sig Sauer Stainless Elites and my Kimber Ultra Raptor Stainless firearms??
Quality video… and rant ! Nice revolver,? btw.
@CTKTMRIDER when you’re paying big channels for shoutouts? on almost every video it’s easy
Subbed! How is it that that A hole keeps getting thousands of subs?!? There can’t be that many ignorant people out there!
when u have fort knox? gun safes you can call them whatever you want
Thank you for this video.
About gold-plated, as far as I know, gold can be dissolved only by solution of some really strong acids. Or it’s the same case as? with nickel-plated ones?
Mike, Thank you for making? this video.. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Ricky
Lol I finally got the Larry Potterfeild picture. Lol I was just watching one of his vids.? Ok I get it now lol. Lol “Hi I’m Larry Potterfield”.
@trey2099 I used Hoppes solvent on my nickle boron. No problems…. yet emphasis on? yet.
@trey2099 lol…call the manufacturer….you are waaay over my? head…
what about nickel-boron finishes? will ballistol eat through that? I know I don’t need to lube it or anything but just wondering. Also does any body know if? it affects a stainless steel barrel that’s been ionbonded black?
I remember reading an article on what USAF armorers used for national match pistols. They used a mix of mobile 1 and hoppes number 9… they swear by it. as for solvents, just read the back of the label, they have all kinds of warnings about this stuff. Listen to Mike, he? knows what he is talking about.
