I want A Semi-Auto 17HMR. I know Browning came out with one I think? It was on the cover of Guns & Ammo. I have A .17 HMR a Marlin Bolt 917VS with a nice stainless fluted barrel w/ match trigger. Leopold and its dead nuts at a100 yards+. I love the cartridge, I want a semi-auto with a bit more than ten rounds. AR type platform for plinking and such. I do have an FN 5.7X28 with the 30 round mags.Unreal Cartridge! Would be nice in a bolt action rifle also. Love your guns! and Video!

I’ll shoot it out to about 200 yards.

This is a Factory Ruger 10/22 MAGNUM receiver…they don’t make that anymore. However there are people who reset the trigger group pin holes back on factory aluminum receivers as a conversion….it’s been done..not sure if it’s safe.

Most 10/22 guys will convert to a .17hm2 with theirs

I got sold on how good it is for hunting sometime back when I realized for rimfires and longer ranges, it did a much better job…especially when shooting in windy conditions.

Platform is not perfect..though just so much cool things can be done

Basically the Receiver and bolt assembly are the only stock items.

I like CZ stuff…I just sold my 452 varmint .22lr…excellent rifle.

  23. 23 Spanky00Cheeks said at 5:31 pm on October 16th, 2009:

Is there anything stock on that thing? The receiver?

Anyways, much respect for your system. All I got is a stock CZ 452 lux 22lr

  24. 24 varmintgetter said at 5:31 pm on October 16th, 2009:

in the info box..it states the parts. I got pretty much all of them directly from the manufacturer except the scope I got from SWFA.

I estimate the parts alone $1100 (250 for hmr barrel, 150 for mag barrel, 300 for trigger, 150 scope, 150 stock) Add the gun that is currently being sold for $600-800 in Auction.

where did u get the parts 4 this? and about how much did it cost?
